-Yin Yoga classes are series of floor poses that work the lower part of the body, such as the hips, pelvis, inner thighs, and lower spine. -

 

~The Yin style of yoga focuses on holding passive poses for an extended period to target the body’s connective tissues, such as ligaments, fascia, joints, bones, and meridians. ~

 

~ The practice of holding a pose for an extended period teaches you to sit with and observe uncomfortable emotions, thoughts, or physical sensations as they arise. ~

 

~ Dress in comfortable clothes that allow you to stretch. ~

 

~ Mats, blocks, bolsters, blankets, and towels are provided. ~
